We Did It! USA Today Reader Vote For Fairness
February 24, 2006: USA Today is fast becoming my favorite newspaper. First, they have the terrific good taste to include The Gay Parenting Show in an article on parenting podcasts (click here if you don’t believe me!).
Then, they run an accurate, if depressing, article on bills to ban gay adoption in 16 states. They also run an online poll, which two days ago I urged my readers to vote in. Well, there results of the poll are in- and look how well we did:

Ignoring for a moment that the results add up to 101%, isn’t it great that 72% of the voters said that gays and lesbians should be able to adopt? Credit goes to the Famliy Pride Coaltion and my friend Michael Rogers at Page One Q, who also encouraged people to participate in the poll.
