December 10, 2005: As the inimitable Miss Midler says, you gotta have friends. Also parents and families, which is why I was so glad to interview Jody Huckaby, the executive director of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), on today’s show.

We talk about PFLAG’s mission and the advocacy they offer on behalf of our families.

Before Jody joins us, I give you a little update on how our foster child is doing and give my usual quick review of news and resources relevant to LGBT parents.
