We Have A Winner!
November 22, 2005: We have a winner for The Gay Parenting Show’s first contest — Leslie, from Nashville, TN, who not only is straight, but she’s childless! OK, maybe she’s not the expected audience for a show intended for LGBT parents, but actually, judging from the comments I get, we have quite a few straight listeners. Which I think is pretty cool.
Leslie is also cool. She says “I want you to know why I listen to your podcast: 1) I feel very strongly about gay rights and the gift that gay parenting in particular brings to our nation. 2) I believe that one of the best ways that I can be supportive of gay parents is to listen and get educated.”
As you can see, not only does Leslie win the contest, she wins our Favorite Listener of the Day Award!
Leslie receives an autographed copy of The Complete Lesbian and Gay Parenting Guide, Arlene Istar Lev’s wonderful resource for our families.
Congratulations, Leslie!
